FINSENT Sentiment Index launched

AUT and the Auckland Centre for Financial Research (ACFR) have just launched the 'FINSENT Sentiment Index' which provides a weekly measure of sentiment of financial markets over the next one and six months, a forward-looking indicator.

The survey currently covers the NZX 50, ASX 200, S&P 500 and New Zealand exchange rates with Australia and the United States. Survey participants can choose which markets they want meaning the minimum number of questions asked is two and the maximum is 10.
