INFINZ stands for a vibrant, efficient and transparent capital market to better serve the needs of NZ’s economy.
INFINZ has over 1300 members having added 250 members within the last 18 months.
Members include: institutional and investment bankers, sharebrokers and corporate financiers, CFOs, Treasurers and Directors, corporate lawyers, regulators, academics, journalists, tertiary students and funds management professionals.
Membership is by the professional concerned who must sign-up to our code of ethics.
INFINZ have a LinkedIn Group specifically established for financial members of INFINZ.
Benefits of Full INFINZ Membership
Advocacy: INFINZ is influential in shaping the legislation and regulatory structure of NZ”s capital markets and was active in contributing to development of the FMCA and associated regulations which are now in force.
Education: Annual Conference was attended by over 300 delegates in 2016 and in addition some 20 breakfast presentations were held, all attracting significant members discounts. INFINZ publishes a Journal twice a year which is free to members and issues a regular e-newsletter.
Standards: Those with the requisite qualifications and/or experience are acknowledged through Certified Status. The annual INFINZ Industry Awards recognise excellence and innovation in 13 categories on the night and a further 20 sharebroking sector and service teams notified in the Herald.
Networking: All of our events provide networking opportunities, including the annual INFINZ Industry Awards black-tie Dinner at The Langham, attended by around 800 guests.

The INFINZ YFPs comprise members under 35 years of age.

The fees are set annually by the Board of INFINZ and for the 2017/2018 subscription year (ended 31 March 2018) are as follows:
- $340 including GST for full membership (New members who join throughout the year are invoiced pro rata upon acceptance)
- $170 including GST for INFINZ YFP membership for those aged between 30 and 35 years of age (New members who join throughout the year are invoiced pro rata upon acceptance)
- $85 including GST for INFINZ YFP membership for those aged under 30 years of age
- $100 (GST exempt) for offshore members and
- $85 including GST for retired members
Student members are charged a simple $30 including GST, processing fee and are entitled to attend member breakfast and lunchtime presentations free of charge, and can attend INFINZ YFP Events.
